	Reality – We put all the current Human genome data (and more) on one CD-ROM .

 

	Myth – Human genome is huge – To deal with the data You need a computer network , with a complex shared processing
	Reality – All the processing is done on a single PC type computer , there is no need of a network .

 

	Myth – Human genome is huge – To process the data You need a supercomputer(s) .
	Reality – Standard PC does an excellent job , of course the faster and more powerful , the better .
